Hello there, I am Cass!
I believe that life is way too short to be doing boring shit. Hahah! I live for adventures and laughs. Some have called me an adrenaline junkie, flower child, wanderer, a wild one, and while they may be 100% accurate, I would say that I am simply addicted to life. I love life, hence Loving Life With Cass (said with the most jazziest of jazz hand.)
I have travelled to 6 continents, 23 countries and been on 92 flights. Since I was a wee one, I have dreamed about going on the wildest of adventures. When I was 18 I created a glorious bucket list, that was made up of all of the things I dreamed about doing. The list included shark cage diving in South Africa, drinking cappuccinos while admiring the magnificent architecture of the Colosseum in Rome, visiting the Amazon Rain Forest and surfing Down Under. I am very proud to say that by the age of 20, I completed the whole thing (throws confetti everywhere!) I created Loving Life With Cass to share my infinite wisdom on all things travel, adventures and living the best life ever, with everyone on this lovely planet. I would also love it if this blog would inspires you (yes, you!) to start loving life and live out all of your biggest, wildest dreams!
Let’s get to know me more, shall we? My number goal is to be the most interesting person alive, (all interesting people blog, right?) I love learning! From trivia questions to new skills, knowledge is power. I love laughing and having fun, actually having fun is my number one priority always and often leads to grand adventures. (Keep in mind that entertaining me is not hard at all, so mine and your definition of fun may differ, but that’s ok just embrace it.) I talk a lot. I enjoy the thrill that comes with being spontaneous and I am a wee bit impulsive; I occasionally do things without thinking them all the way through, but YOLO. I love WAY too easily, which has it’s downsides but also has a lot of positives and I wouldn’t change it even if I could. I have a strong passion for the arts and I love creating. Photography is by far my favourite art form. Ansel Adams (a talented photographer who you should look up if you are unfamiliar with his work.) said, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” For me, this statement could not be any more true. Photography is more than ‘point and shoot’, it is focusing on an object that you not only appreciate but find yourself involved with. Taking the time to think about what you want to portray, setting up the shot, capture what you intend, immortalizing it forever and sharing it with the world, is a beautiful thing. I enjoy music a lot and I can often be found dancing and singing, (completely off key but with a ton of passion, so it makes up for it!) Fact: I frequently relate my life to episodes of The Office. (BTW The Office is the funniest show ever created in the history of mankind.) I also love helping people, animals and the environment. I would prefer to be outside always (mountains and oceans and trees, oh my!). I enjoy participating in a wide range of physical activities, including running, weight training, hiking, yoga, H.I.I.T, spin, biking, swimming and recreational soccer, volleyball and basketball. I really like traveling. Exploring new places, meeting new people and embracing new cultures makes life a little more beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by y’all, feel free to contact me.
Hope you have a lovely day!
